beta 4 didn't give me any problems, I could change the
cube color with 'setmaterial' When I did beta 6 it said 'editor window didn't load because script couldn't be found' but it loaded when I clicked on playmaker/playmakerFSM editor Then when I loaded the sample scene, noexit.unity, 'corridor' and 'first person controller' were in red, this is bad but I've never figured out why. the level was mostly invisible in textured and wireframe. 'Cleaning up leaked objects in scene since no game object, component or manager is referencing them Texture2D has been leaked 48 times.' I'll see if beta 7 has these problems.
beta 7 has only the 'editor couldn't be loaded', then it
loads when I click on playmaker. This is great, I'm programming impaired, haven't made a game since 2002 with Reality Factory.
AFAIK, the EditorWindow error is harmless - it means that unity saved a layout that included a script that can no longer be found (the old version of playmaker). The best way around this is to save your playmaker layout and reload it after updating playmaker. Or just reload one of the standard layouts...
AFAIK, the texture leaks are also harmless. I have an open UnityAnswers question on this, and apparently other extensions have the same error, and it's just a side effect of the unity editor... Not sure what was up with NoExit - does it work in beta 7? |
