Bug (tiny): CTRL+V doesn't work in Events and Variables panels |
CTRL+V (CTRL+C too) doesn't works in Events and Variables panels
Now its not working and if you don't know that it occasionally can lead to pasting States copied before.
I post it here because its yet tiny but time saving thing

I can't repro this...
Are there other conditions? Are you on mac or pc?

I have 2 PCs (winXP) and this issue exists on both of them.
I don't see any particular conditions - this happens every time I try it

Maybe I misunderstand the bug. Are you saying if the events or variables panel is open, Ctrl-C/V doesn't copy/paste states?

No no - I mean that I can't copy/paste (ordinary Windows functionality) any text in that two panels
For example - I need to make list of vars like this:
socket01
socket02
socket03
socket04
socket05
Problem is that I can't make this operation efficiently fast, because I can't copy/paste word "socket"

Ahhh, that makes more sense. This should be easy to fix...

Its just a tiny detail - but yet can lead to frustration while working long hours on projects.
Thanks :)

Agreed. Went through all the text fields in the editor and made sure they used editor text fields that accept copy/paste. Will be in next beta.
Small workflow improvements add up, and can be very quick to implement, like this one - so keep them coming!
