Animates the value of a Float Variable over time.
Anim Curve
The animation curve to use. Click to open the animation curve editor.
Float Variable
The float variable to animate over time.
Finish Event
Optional event to send when the animation is finished (or has looped if looping)
Real Time
Ignore TimeScale. Useful if the game is paused but you still need to animate the value.
This is a powerful building block - it lets you control any action's float parameter with an animation curve!
Examples
Use Animate Float to control Audio Volume:
The Animate Float action animates the Volume variable; the Set Audio Volume action then uses the Volume variable to control an Audio Source volume. This example also shows how you chain actions together to create more complex actions (e.g. instead of making a Set Audio Volume With Curve action).
